SICIM Machine Learning Challenge

Everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence – but what about its practical application in the field of machine learning (ML)?

The Saxon Institute for Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning (SICIM) invites staff and students at the university to take part in a challenging machine learning competition. Put your skills to the test, discover new approaches and exchange ideas with others interested in ML.

The task:
We are looking for ML models that can reliably detect forged securities. Two datasets with different features are available for this purpose. The aim is to achieve the best possible results through skilful model selection and clever data analysis.

What to expect:
Two practical tasks that will challenge and develop your analytical skills. Whether you have previous experience or are just starting out – all participants have the chance to develop creative and effective solutions. The best teams will receive awards.

How to take part:
You can participate individually or as a team (up to 5 people). Whether you’re already working with ML or just taking your first steps – it’s well worth taking part!
